About MindaRyn
A trilingual anisong singer from Bangkok who moved to Japan to sing anime songs
MindaRyn — real name Natcha Pongsupanee — was born on 17 February in Bangkok. She grew up on anime and Japanese music, from Pokémon and Digimon to the band X Japan, while studying Software and Knowledge Engineering at Kasetsart University.
In 2015 she started a YouTube channel covering anime and Japanese songs. The audience she built there caught the attention of Lantis, leading to a recording contract and her official debut in November 2020 with BLUE ROSE knows, the ending theme for By the Grace of the Gods.
The turning point came in 2021 with Like Flames, the opening for That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Season 2, which reached #45 on the Oricon chart. A steady run of tie-in songs followed across both anime and tokusatsu — Arifureta, SHY, Sengoku Youko, and the Ultraman series with Ultraman Blazar and Ultraman Omega.
She performs in Thai, Japanese and English, and regularly posts English translation covers of anime songs on her own channel — a habit that spread her fan base worldwide. In 2025 she launched her first world tour, “Hello New Friends,” taking in Brazil, Sweden, Canada and the United States. Her YouTube channel now has over 1.15 million subscribers, and in Japan she is known as an “アニソン伝道師” — an anisong missionary.
